RECORD-BREAKING SUCCESS AT THE HOT SPRINGS CONNECTION CONFERENCE

The Hot Springs Connection conference of 2024, hosted at Murrieta Hot Springs Resort from January 8th to the 11th, proved to be a remarkable event, breaking attendance records and fostering a sense of community and collaboration among the 170 participants. With representatives from 48 hot springs, 17 exhibitors, and a diverse representation from 23 states and 6 countries, this conference established itself as a worldwide gathering for both enthusiasts and professionals.

One of the conference's highlights was the comprehensive range of topics covered, addressing crucial aspects of the hot springs industry. The sessions delved into sanitation alternatives, exploring innovative flow-through exchange systems. Discussions also touched on geothermal water quality, quantity, and flow, emphasizing practices in well drilling, construction techniques, corrosion control, and scale management.

The conference boasted an impressive lineup of featured speakers, including microbial physiologist Roy D. Vore, Ph.D., geothermal geologist Gerry Huttrer, and internationally recognized leadership trainer David K. Aaker. Their presentations added depth and expertise to the diverse range of topics discussed.

The sense of support and passion within the hot springs community was evident, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and positive energy that persisted during and after the conference. The Hot Springs Connection Conference not only delivered valuable insights and knowledge but also reinforced the importance of a supportive community in advancing the hot springs industry.

ANDY BARHAM APPOINTED NEW HOT SPRINGS ASSOCIATION BOARD VICE PRESIDENT

The Hot Springs Association is pleased to announce Andy Barham as the new board Vice President. Having previously served as a dedicated board and committee member, Andy brings a wealth of experience and passion for the industry to his new role.

Andy has spent his life in hospitality and is currently the General Manager of Bozeman Hot Springs. He is an avid outdoorsman filling his time with a different hobby for every season. When not working, you will find him in the mountains pushing for an adrenaline fix. His profession lies in property development with a strong interest in operations. Andy’s initial focus was large scale event planning which gave him access to many of the top properties in the nation and has now evolved to opportunities of health and wellness. He considers himself a student to this industry and is excited to help others with their journey.
